TechHub Manchester logoIf you’ve been to our office you’ll know how much we love welcoming customers in – from spelling out your name on our welcome board, to trying to beat you at the pool table … oh and demonstrating our hosting expertise.

Well now, we're taking our knowledge and expertise out on the road. Our star staff are going to up sticks for a few days, once a month for the next few months, to provide on-site advice at TechHub Manchester. It’s all part of our official partnership with the start-up space at Carver’s Warehouse in Dale Street and is a chance for us to pass on some of our expert knowledge about all things hosting.

A range of Melbourne people – from developers to network engineers and our technical directors - will be working out of the TechHub offices to provide free advice to members on things like Linux and Windows, networks and online retail.

The first session gets underway on Bonfire Night (from November 5th to 8th). The next one is from December 3rd to 6th and then the sessions continue into 2014 from January 7th to 10th and from February 4th to 7th.

As Doug Ward, the co-founder & CEO of TechHub Manchester, explains, “Melbourne have been busy working behind the scenes to help us grow over the past six months. Now they’ll be front of house and giving the tech start-up stars of Manchester a great chance to learn from their proven expertise and their own business success.”

We’re delighted to be working with Doug towards his vision of Manchester one day becoming a top 5 European start-up destination.
