Green IT is more than a buzzword!

Green IT will continue to be a buzzword for the duration of this year and beyond.

I am not altogether keen on buzzwords because it suggests a large number of people are getting caught up in a wave of unjustified excitement and enthusiasm. All too often there is just no substance there.

But there are genuine concerns about the planet. The majority of responsible individuals and enterprises do not want to impact on the environment more than is absolutely necessary. Indeed they want to find ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

Green IT is a serious concern and justifiably so. Indeed when prospective clients are discussing their needs with us, our green credentials are keenly sought.

It makes sense for us financially to be environmentally innovative and forward thinking in this respect, a well as being environmentally more responsible.
