Melbourne is pleased to announce that we have signed a contract for a further internet transit provider, further improving the capacity and speed of our bandwidth.
From December we will have a gigabit port with Tier-1 provider Cogent. This is in addition to our existing connections: Level(3), KPN, Avensys, Internet Connections and MaNAP peering.
The additional transit will give us additional resilience and increased speed to certain destinations.
The improvement to the transit feed will be available to all dedicated server, colocation and IP transit customers from December.
