Melbourne’s Referral Program

We know you love us and our services. We know you tell all your friends. We’d like to say thanks for giving us a vote of confidence.

If, as a result of a direct referral, your colleague signs up for service with Melbourne, you’ll get one of the following gifts from us (your choice – we’ll email you to ask you):

• A case of 6 bottles of quality wine, sourced from family-owned producers, from local wine merchant Reserve Wines.
• An iPod shuffle in your choice of colours. Don’t worry, we won’t have it engraved with any terse ‘thank you’ message!
• A £50 (including VAT) credit to your account.
• A £50 donation to the charity of your choice.

Once the person you’ve referred has placed their order, and we’ve received the set-up charge and/or first payment, your account manager will contact you to ask which gift you’d prefer. Simple!

How to make sure you get your gift…

We need to know that you referred the person in the first place.  There’s two ways we can find this out.

1. Make sure they mention us when signing up

Quite simple really: on our order form, one of the last questions is “where did you hear about Melbourne”.  Make sure they mention you here, we’ll do the rest.

2. Refer visitors from your website using our automated tracking link

If you’re kind enough to put a link to Melbourne on your website, perhaps because you want to highlight the fact that your hosting is powered by a green datacentre, you can add a tracking code to the link, which will ensure any orders placed will be attributed to you.

Link to our site using the following format:

http://www.melbourne.co.uk/?referrer=YOUR_ACCOUNT_REFERENCE

Replace “YOUR_ACCOUNT_REFERENCE” with your customer account reference.  You can obtain this from any invoice or statement, or our support team can advise you of this if you’re unsure.

When orders are placed, they will be attributed to your account.

You can use a text link, or use one of our logos or buttons below if you’d prefer a graphical link. Get in touch if you want an EPS copy of our logo for custom design work.
